Project Manager - Residential Photovoltaic + Energy Storage (Houston)
Responsibilities
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to lead our residential photovoltaic + energy storage projects in Houston. The ideal candidate will bring experience from top-tier companies in the industry such as Sunrun, Sunnova, Tesla, SunPower, or Freedom. This role involves comprehensive management of project lifecycle, from client engagement post-contract to overseeing installations and managing client relations throughout the warranty period and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Engage with clients after contract signing to coordinate site inspections and installation scheduling. Assist clients with loan applications for their projects. Liaise with subcontracted EPC firms for contract execution, site inspections, and installation work. Manage the permit acquisition process, ensuring adherence to local regulations. Oversee installation and construction to guarantee timely completion and quality standards. Address customer service issues throughout the warranty period, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Proven project management experience in the photovoltaic and energy storage sector. Previous experience in leading firms like Sunrun, Sunnova, Tesla, SunPower, or Freedom preferred. Strong project management skills, including effective scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building lasting client relationships. Knowledgeable in permit processes and regulatory compliance within the industry.
