HESS-Technical Support Engineer
Responsibilities
About the Role As the technical support manager for the Australia market, you will implement the company’s strategy in helping sales team identifying, securing, and establishing business relationships with different business partners like solar installers/retailers, home builders, distributors, and wholesalers and provide technical training for them. Responsibilities Provide Pre-and After-Sale technical support and consultation to Australian Sales Teams and Customers about the company’s residential BESS (battery energy storage system) products. Take leadership to provide residential BESS (battery energy storage system) products pre and after sale technical service/support to local business partners including distributors and installers. Responsible for communicating with headquarters R&D team regarding all technical matters arising from installation and day-to-day system operations. Active capturing of customer needs on product development and collecting market information and continuously updating to the Technical Service team in the China HQ. Represent the company in industrial events including training, workshops, and trade fairs. Travel to meet distributors, installers, and customers to provide technical training and onsite technical support.
Requirements
Qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering, PV & Renewable, Technology or related field. Required Skills 3-5 years’ experience in Solar & Battery Industry. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to prioritize & plan workload to meet business needs and goals. Self-motivated, proactive, and dedicated approach. Mandarin speaking skills will be a strong bonus. Willingness and ability to travel, approx. 25%. Preferred Skills Licensed Australia Electrician preferred.
